V8
goes East - 4 Gordon
provides his fourth report as he leaft Bourges on his way through France en route
for Greece and then places East (4.5.05)
The weather
in France has been sunshine alternating with violent thunderstorms - in fact more
rain than sun. On all recent trips French petrol cost 12 - 20p per litre less
than the UK price but on this trip normal 95 octane unleaded now costs equivalent
to 84p/litre so very little difference to the UK. Gordon had a footnote
expressing concern with the keyboards he will face in sending routine reports
back as he travels East. Gordon commented "if the French keyboards are so
different, I dread to think |

Gordon Hesketh-Jones (Harvest Gold 1904). what
a cyrilic keyboard will look like and how I will cope.........!" |
