British Racing Green 0310 (1993) with only 24,500 miles, two previous owners
from new and a full service history and bills from new, including the original
bill of sale and documentation to the first owner. From 2004 to 2009, it was refurbished
by Clive Wheatley for the second owner so the bodywork is perfect and blemish
free, the hood is excellent and original, all the burr Elm trim has been relacquered,
both seats refurbished, a replacement carbon fibre screen frame, four new "Yellow"
Koni shock absorbers and all new Michelin tyres fitted and refurbished road wheels.

47,000 miles and always kept in dry garage. Only 20 cars were made in Le Mans

by HS Imports in 2004 as a one lady owner car first registered in Japan in December
1994. Rated Grade 4A at auction in Japan. An English translation of service history
in Japan is available. One UK owner since reimportation and now with an MGR registration.
Speedo and other dials have optional chrome bezels, unused spare wheel, half tonneau

Nightfire Red 1379 (95) registered in Japan in 1995 and then in the UK in
October 2004 with a recorded 31,300 miles when bought. Leather interior, elm burr

Flame
Red 0326 is the "Works" car raced by Team Cowley MG. The car was
shown at the Frankfurt Motor Show with the bodywork originally finished in Woodcote
Green. The car returned to Cowley after the show and was kept in the Showbay.
In 1996 the car was stripped to its component parts and built into a new and unique
bodyshell on the British Motor Heritage stand at the 1996 Essen Techno Classica
Motor Show. The build featured unique black and red trim, three piece Minilite
wheels, a white hardtop etc. At the end of the show the car was presented to the
Cowley Plant Director for use by TCMG. It was then raced, with many successes,
between 1996 and 2000 in the MG Car Club's BCV8 Championship and the Phoenix Challenge.
The car is road legal, with new catalysts, tax and MOT. All the parts needed to
return to race spec are included, plus most of Essen trim, Minilites etc along
with a spare painted bodykit, new hood, decals, photos etc. Realistically priced

Oxford Blue 1597 (1995). I imported this car from Japan in March 2006 with
the help of HS Imports. The car had two owners in Japan. It covered 23,400 miles
in Japan and has since done 900 miles in this country. On return to the UK the
car had four new Pirellis fitted. The wheels are excellent (spare is unused).
New wood from Clive Wheatley was fitted and a full service was carried out with
engine, gearbox and diff oil changed. A new mph speedometer was also fitted and
the original kph one is with the car. A new battery was fitted and the steering
rack refurbished. The leather is perfect. The vehicle was also waxoyled including
the windscreen which is absolutely fine. Original overmats and rear tonneau are
excellent and with the car, plus jack and wheel chocks. Body panels are straight
and paintwork in Oxford Blue is lovely. Chrome air intake and handles are unmarked.
I have a modern Kenwood system fitted (original is available also), even the rear
amp and speakers work. Aircon works perfectly. The handbook is with the car and
all the Japanese service history and bills have been translated. The car is MOT'd
and taxed until March 2007. A change in circumstances necessitate that I put the

Woodcote Green 1802 (1995) with less than 6,300 miles from new. Immaculate
stone beige leather upholstery and excellent Elm burr dashboard and trim, air
conditioning, MG Radio Cassette, MG Over Mats, tool kit, unused spare wheel, fully
documented and unusual history, Heritage Certificate, kept in a heated garage
and sold in "as new" condition. Although this car was made for the Japanese
market and shipped there, it was never sold or registered in Japan and came back
to the UK when SMCRover at Slough were asked to get a new RV8 for a customer in
November 1997. So its first ever registration was in England in 1997/98. When
I bought the car from Keith Evans of West End Classics he reassured me the windscreen
surround has been rust proofed internally when the car came back to the UK. The
original Michelin Pilots look like new. There were only ever 2,000 of these cars

I bought this outstanding car from Keith at West End Classics in August 2005.
It was described as exceptional, purchased and delivered unseen. I was delighted.
It was everything I'd hoped for and more. It was his wife's personal car and had
just been fitted with six new Pirelli 6000s, new battery and new mohair hood.
Since then it has done less than 500 miles. The leather is perfect and unmarked.
The veneer is 100% as new, the carpets and factory overmats are immaculate. The
wheels are as new and so is the windscreen. The bodywork is superb and finished
in Oxford Blue - a rare and the best colour in my opinion. As you know West End
Classics sell only the best low mileage examples and mine is no exception. Regretfully
I have had to take health induced early retirement and financially need to sell

with only 15,600 miles (25,130 kms) re-imported from Japan in February 2005. One
previous Japanese owner from new. Only covered 940 dry miles in the last six months.
Japanese service history (translated) and MOT to February 2007. Perfect damage
free bodywork and screen surround. Leather and interior timber trims all perfect.
Export spec air conditioning retained. Hood is in excellent condition with full
tonneau, original MG floormats. Replacement carbon fibre radiator shroud (broken

Beware
of scam from an overseas V8 buyer!
Rick
Morton (Woodcote Green 1300) has reported a scam which members who are selling
a V8 need to note. Rick says "I just thought I would update you on my
experience with trying to sell my RV8 recently before I withdrew it from sale.
Both Jerry Winfield (Woodcote Green 1684) and I heard from the same person but
I also had several other emails with roughly the same approach.
Basically
this person who is overseas agrees to buy your car, and will send you a cheque
for more than the asking price to cover shipping costs etc. He then asks if you
could bank the cheque and send the balance to his shipping agent via a money transfer.
The cheque bounces but only after you have sent the cash to the shipping agent.
This scam relies on your ignorance of how the cheque clearing system works. Problems
arise because banks update their computers on day three of the clearing cycle.
So if you check with them at that time, you may very well be told that the funds
are available. It will only be on day four that the bank realises that there is
a problem, and on day five that they tell you. Weekends and Bank Holidays all
add to the delay. In my case the scam merchant was going to send me a cheque for
£3,400 more than I was asking for the car. I was to subtract the cost of
the car and send the remainder to his "shipping agent"." So
members need to be alert to this scam and any approach from the scam merchant!
