Car Club - a real members' club for MG enthusiasts
The MG Car Club has always been the motor club
MG enthusiasts have wanted to join as it is a genuine members'
club run by the members for the members. The Club was formed
in the 1930s with MG Factory support and still has its offices
in Abingdon today. The MG Car Club has no commercial spares
operations or insurance businesses but instead concentrates
on encouraging specialist MG spares and services firms to
provide good quality spares and services for its members.
The Club members receive a monthly colour magazine called
Safety Fast! and a copy of MG Enthusiast magazine.
The Club provides useful technical support and services for
its members through a network of registers for individual
MG models and has a number of specialist brokers who offer
good insurance deals for Club members, including attractive
limited mileage and agreed value MG policies. Popular social
and motoring events are run by regional groups (Centres) within
the Club with national events arranged by the team at Club
Office. The Club organises some of the most successful and
well run club motorsport events in the UK - not least the
popular BCV8 Championship.
Joining the MG Car Club is very straightforward - there
is no joining fee, simply a modest annual subscription. You
