Paul Mascall, an RV8 enthusiast in Australia and member of the V8 Register, has subscribed to Classics Monthly for several years and enjoys the magazine but was puzzled why their useful price guide quoted £23,000 as the value for a Condition 1 RV8. Paul noted "the RV8 price guides you publish . . haven't changed in all the time I've been taking the magazine and the quoted value seems very high in comparison with what I find on the V8 Register website".

Well in the next issue Classics Monthly reduced its Condition 1 value to £18,500 but that still seems high from the prices seen on the RV8s for Sales webpages over the last 12 months. Now January to March are often quiet months for MGV8s sales in the UK and this year slightly more so. It will be interesting to see how sales go from April when the UK market usually livens up!
