One of the finest chrome bumper Factory MGBGTV8s in the UK has come up for sale. It's Black 0974 first registered in May 1974 and the subject of a meticulous rebuild by Dave Wellings. Since that time the car has run approximately 11,000 miles. The rebuild included a brand new engine, is photographically documented and the provenance is enhanced by MOT certificates and tax discs going back to the seventies, service history, supporting invoices for parts and labour etc. It even has the original University Motors rear window decal, and tax disc holder. The car has an MOT until May 2011 and is taxed to October 2010. The asking price is £13,000.
Sold - Don Gilham reports that within seven days of posting his advert to the MGV8s for Sale webpage on the V8 Website his V8 has been sold to an MG enthusiast, Geoff Insley, who has an MGF and a 1972 MGBGT. Don says he knows Geoff will look after this exceptional car. (12.8.10)
