Allan
Doyle (Damask 1667), who was over from Germany recently for the
V8 30th Anniversary Week and the Silverstone International MG Meeting,
reports he has heard from Theo Klick (Damask
1721) of another long journey in
his V8 from Germany to Spain. Allan says "I received a note and
some pictures from Theo Klick in Germany. His car is running better
than ever and he was recently in Tarifa (near Gibralter) with his
friend. I jokingly suggested that he should have cleaned the wheels
of brake dust but he certainly does seem to use the car!". Clearly
the brakes had been working hard on the route crossing the Col du
Soulor on the way. (15.7.08)
