Summer Day Out
what's on?
The Summer Day Out organised by the Abingdon Works Centre is one
of the most relaxed and enjoyable MG Car Club events in the South
of England. It's one many V8 enthusiasts have been pleased to attend
for many years.
Converging Road Runs
There are five routes, each around 55 miles,
starting at 10am from
Abingdon
Andover
Banbury
Prices Risborough
Hartley Wintney
The anticipated arrival time at Basildon Park is around 12 noon.
You can of course make your own way there by a route of your own!
Lunch
Bring your own picnic or there is a restuarant and shop at Basildon
Park. The Kidlington Silver Band will play over the lunch period.
Club Stall
Club Office will provide full support.
Club Support
The registers - MMM, SVW, T-Types, MGA, Midgets, MGB, V8s, MGF,
and ZR/ZS/ZT will be attaneding together with the Midlands Centre
of the MG Car Club and the Octagon Car Club. The event includes
the MGB Register Summer Run.
Informal Price of Ownership
will be judged during the afternoon.
Dogs are allowed but only on leads. They are not allowed in the
house or formal gardens.

Fees
£18.50 per car
covers all occupants and for
children under 16 entry is free.
National Trust Members
For fully paid up members of the National Trust, there is a reduced
price of
£13.50 for pre-booked entries only.
Please quote your National Trust membership number on your entry
form and you must produce your membership card at the gate when
you arrive at Basildon Park.
