of an offside cast iron exhaust manifold for an MGBGTV8
A former V8 owner found he had a spare exhaust manifold and
has offered it to the V8 Register for sale to a member who is
a V8 enthusiast in need of a replacement offside unit with the
proceeds going to a charity chosen by the donor - Help the Heroes.
The condition of the manifold seems to be virtually "as
new" as you can see from the photo alongside and in the
detailed set of photos which is available to bidders. The only
issue with the manifold was that one of the bolt holes in the
bottom flange had a thread which needed cleaning so the bolt
can cover the whole of the thread. That thread was cleaned last
week by a V8 specialist so the manifold is now available for
auction.
