a place on the tour
You can book a place either online using the convenient booking
form on the V8 website or by downloading a copy of the form
and sending the completed form by post or as an email attachment
to the organisers, Bob and Carolyn Owen. Bookings for the tour
need to be made by 14th July 2012.
The cost is £70 per couple and car and £50
per single person and car. That fee covers the cost of rally
plaques and route books, the pre-dinner welcome drink on Friday,
two morning coffee stops, the afternoon cream tea, the entrance
to the Judge's Lodgings in Presteigne on Monday morning and
the after dinner entertainment.
Booking and paying by post
Simply download a copy of the booking form from this website,
add your booking details and then post the the booking form
with your cheque to the tour organisers, Bob and Carolyn Owen.
Their address is on the booking form. Please make your payment
by 14th July 2012 with your cheque made payable to "MGCC
V8 Register".

Booking and paying online
Your booking can be made online using the convenient online
booking form and the tour fee can be paid either by cheque mailed
to the organisers or online using the secure Worldpay payment
system which will be available on the V8 website (debit cards
preferred). Following
that card transaction you will receive an email confirmation
of your purchase with a transaction reference from Worldpay.

Booking
your accommodation direct with the Metropole Hotel in Llandrindod
Wells
We have reserved 30 standard rooms at the Metropole at a special
cost of £70 per person per night for dinner, bed
and breakfast, whether single, double or twin rooms. These rooms
will be held until 14th July. Bookings beyond the 30 rooms or
after 14th July will secure a room only if the hotel has any
rooms available.
Please telephone the Metropole
Hotel on 01597 823700, option 1, to reserve a room, stating
it is for the "MG Tour". The Metropole Hotel will
ask for a non-returnable deposit of £20 per person
when you book. There may be some superior rooms available at
additional cost; if you would like one, please ask when you
make your initial booking. The balance is due to the hotel when
you check out.
Note: please arrange any special dietary needs when booking
with the hotel.
The weekend
is good value as the total cost for the long weekend, excluding
hotel sundries, bar bills and any entrance fees on Saturday
and Sunday, is £260 for a single person plus car and £490
for a couple plus car. So the total cost of this tour is less
than the Metropole Hotel standard room rate for the three nights.
