Private
sale - Factory MGBGTV8 in Blaze
Blaze 1787 is a 1974 Factory car in very good condition with
original extras that include overmats, Weathershield's full length
roof, walnut dash. radio cassette, excellent black cloth interior.
Recent new overdrive, brakes, tyres, clutch, tubular manifolds,
luminition, K&N's with revised needles, and a Clive Wheatley
stainless big bore exhaust (sounds great). All original parts
will be supplied with the car. Taxed until January 2007 with an
MOT to December 2006. Large history file, owner trace from new,
only 78,000 miles with 10,000 since 1990.
The car was first owned by a property company and then a doctor
before passing through the hands of the well known V8 specialist
Barry Sidery-Smith. For 13 years prior to my ownership the car
was in the hands of an ex motoring journalist who bought the car
in 1990 at the age of 74 during which time it was kept in good
dry storage in central London and used only occasionally.
There was an extensive article on the car in EMG magazine in May
2003 entitled I think "How to stay young in your mid eighties".
I bought it in November of the same year.
This is not a show car, it is a car to take out and enjoy, very
good overall with total reliability and all MOT's since 1983,
service history since 1990. Give me a call for any further information
if required.
