Obits link Posted: 261011 Al Barnett regularly used his first MGRV8 (BRG 1589) for classic car rallies in France and Spain with considerable success and later another, a rare mofified 5-lire model (Oxford Blue 1589) reimported from from Tokyo. As part of the V8 Register Committee he originally covered the role of V8 Events and was later V8 Chairman until August 2008.
