V8 Technical Day Saturday 14th July 2018 The next V8 Technical Day will be held on Saturday 14th July 2018 in the John Thornley Suite at Kimber House, 12 Cemetery Road, Abingdon, Oxfordshire OX14 1AS commencing at 10am and finishing at around 3.30pm. The event is open to current members of the V8 Register - MG Car Club. Please note the maximum number of places at this event is 40. The cost to attend is £20 which includes tea and coffee and a light buffet lunch. Posted: 180607 Programme for the day The programme includes presentations on the new Mazda replacement five speed gearbox from the supplier Vitesse and on rechipping RV8 engines from Mark Adams of Tornado Systems, a specialist in in engine management technology with a particular focus on the Rover V8 engine. Briefing Question time The questions put the panel will be mainly drawn from questions sent in ahead of the event to enable speakers to prepare authoritative responses, but some questions will be taken on the day as inevitably some questions arise from the content of the presentations made by speakers.
