RV8 has second position in Top Ten Cars from the BMC and Leyland day

George Wilder has spotted a Daily Telegraph news item reporting that "around 800 vehicles were on display at this year’s BMC & Leyland Show. In Honest John's column in today's copy of the Daily Telegraph there is the list of the "Top 10 Cars from the BMC and Leyland day". The second car in their Top Ten is the RV8". See the article

The description of the RV8 in the Top Ten listing refers to the RV8 as "a pastiche of the original MGB V8" and "something of a Marmite car when new" and "also one of the most unusual cars ever to use the venerable Rover V8 engine". Many MGV8 enthusiasts will find those comments quite extraordinary and far from accurate.

The RV8 featuring alongside is registered by an MG Car Club member.
