Closing the Swiss-MGV8/IG activities for 2014, members of the group joined the Swiss British Car Meeting in the friendly village of Morges on shore of the Lac Léman (Geneva) on Saturday 4th October. Once more the weather was excellent which attracted a large number of great English cars of different British car brands. This year the specially invited Clubs were the Sunbeam Alpine Club and the rather "conservative" RR-Club. Splendid cars and well time-dressed owners.

Our Swiss-MGV8/IG was again honoured by the organisers of Swiss British Car Meeting 2014 with the allocation of a very desirable reserved area in the Parc des Nations - English Gardens. This time some 13 MGV8s (8 RV8s, 4 MGBGTV8s and a MGBV8 conversion) joined our gathering and we were very pleased to welcome three new MGV8 members who joined our MGV8/IG. They are Sigfried Lang
with an RV8, Otto Müller (MGBV8 conversion) from Germany and Claude Orthlieb (MGBGTV8 in Aconite) from France.

The members at the MGV8 gathering were Victor Rodrigues (MGBGTV8 in Teal Blue above), Markus Amof (MGBGTV8), Claude Orthlieb (MGBGTV8), Frédéric Gendroz (MGBGTV8), Eric Pfändler (RV8), Florian Meid (RV8), Ueli Dürig (RV8), Peter Meier (RV8), Patrice Bovier (RV8), Stefan Blank (RV8), Siegfried Lang (RV8) with a very related number plate SB - RV8 and Otto Müller (1976 MGBV8 conversion) with a very interesting number plate SB -MG8 00H. An SB plate is from the German area of SAARBRÜCKEN. See a two page illustrated report
