A key event in 2013 is the V8 Anniversary Day with two interesting features - the book launch of the new book from David Knowles and several V8 Technical Sessions with presentations on topical technical issues from a group of speakers. Light refreshments will be available.

The location is conveniently just west of the M40. From the north leave the M40 Southbound at J8a, then travel a few miles south west on country lanes to reach View Farm which is up on a ridge known as Windmill Hill. Junction 8a is a complex interchange so do look at our route guide. From the south leave the M40 Northbound at J7 and go west on the A329 to just beyond the Haseley Trading Estate where you turn right (north) into Church Road. The map in the route guide below will show you the final stages to View Farm at Great Milton. Fellow RV8 member, Charles Peers, has invited us to hold this event at a private study centre he has on his farm.

Book Launch - MG V8

As many V8 enthusiasts know, David Knowles has been beavering away on another book, this time focusing again on the rather special subject of MG cars with V8 engines. Our event will be a book launch.

 Presentation from the author
Our book launch event will include a presentation by David Knowles touching on his aims for what is a welcome sequel to his very popular earlier book, what interesting additional material he found during his researches, details of the people he was in touch with, the interesting material he has included on the later MGV8 models and the significant section (around a third of the book) on the RV8 predevelopment story.
