How
do we produce our 6 monthly MGV8 price guide & market reviews?
Since May 2017 our Pricewatch volunteers have been monitoring MGV8s
seen advertised for sale, listed for auction of seen for sale in traders'
showrooms. From the data they gather for our "spot sheets",
we carry out an analysis every 6 months in early May and November
to generate an updated price guide for Factory MGBGTV8s & RV8s
together with updated market reviews.
We follow Costello MGBV8 prices but for other MGBV8 Conversions we
do not follow them in detail simply because the scope and quality
of the conversions can vary so much.
Our 6 monthly market reviews and price guide have been updated
covering the 6 months to the end of April 2022 and were released in
early May 2022. More

Market reviews prepared for the MGBGTV8 (chrome &
rubber bumper Factory built models) and for the RV8 (Woodcote
Green & Other Colours) highlighting key features in the
market and auctions along with economic factors not least the
recent Covid pandemic which have had a major impact on how auctions
had been managed and traders had to adapt to the constraints
over "mass gatherings" and personal contacts.
