The sale price at the H&H auction today of £18,400
was £550 (or 2.9%) lower than the advertised "reduced"
price on the RV8s for Sale webpage on the V8 Website. In our
six monthly analysis of the Pricewatch spots of MGV8s seen advertised
for sale or listed for auction, typically the selling price
is around 7% below the asking price based on information
revealed to us by members who have sold or purchased an MGV8. |

Andy Goves, one of our Pricewatch volunteers, reports
"the Nightfire Red RV8 was sold provisionally at 1400 hours
at the H&H Auction at Duxford today for a hammer price of
£16,000. Bidding commenced at £10,000 asked for
by the auctioneer, the initial bid came from the Internet with
increments then of £1,000 to £14,000. Thereafter
increments of £500 both on the web and in the auction
room took it to £16,000. If it sells at this price, then
the total payable will be:
