Allen Cup awarded to Andy Goves Two annual awards were made following the V8 AGM at MGLive! this year - one to Keith Belcher (John Targett Cup) and the other to Andy Goves (Geoff Allen Cup). The cups are in memory of two popular members who are sadly no longer with us - Geoff Allen, who was foreman in the Rectifications Department at the MG Plant for 27 years and then ran his own MG services business in Abingdon, and John Targett a longstanding and popular V8 Register member. As Andy was not able to be at MGLive! the award was made today at the Barons auction at Sandown Park. Posted: 180717 |
