seen advertised for sale in May 2017 reappears with a 48.5% price hike! Keith
Belcher, one of our two Pricewatch volunteers, has spotted an RV8 (Woodcote Green
1680) is advertised for sale with a trader in Kent at £24,950 and notes
it was advertised by a private seller in April 2017 at £16,800 - a price
hike of 48.5%!

owner since 2008, 44,000 miles, MOT to March 2018, all original spec with aircon,
burr elm dash and door trims, cream leather interior, hood, full tonneau. All

Advert says "with
45,000 miles, in stunning condition throughout, with wind deflector, full tonneau
cover and black mohair hood. The gearbox is the later and much preferred K380
model with a stainless steel exhaust and recently fitted with an EZ power steering
system. Recent MOT and service". 180322
In
11 months this car appears again with an offer price uplift of £8,150 or
48.5%! The advert says it has an EZ EPAS fitted which may lift the price by
around £2,000 but taking that into account that is still an uplift of 37%!
The text of the advert refers to a K380 gearbox, presumably an incorrect reference
to an R380. |
