This early Factory MGBGTV8 in Damask was originally advertised by a private seller in Benson in Oxfordshire and in less than a month the price was reduced by 21% to £16,950. Today, only 10 days later, this time the car has been listed online again by a trader in Bristol at £POA! We wonder if he bought it from the private seller and is looking for a profitable sale. It looks as if this MGBGTV8 has the Scimitar version of the Dunlop composite wheels with the bigger offset and it has leather seats and some V8 badging missing, presumably after the professional rebuild. The trader describes the body colour as "maroon". It will need a very close inspection by anyone thinking of buying it. On offer on 26th May 2017 at £21,500. Relisted and now on offer at £16,950. Advertised as "an original factory MGBGTV8 with Webasto sunroof. Red paintwork with black leather interior. First registered in October 1973. The car underwent a complete professional bare metal restoration in July 2013 carried out by Mistral Cars near Newbury. Genuine 86,000 miles on the clock, with 5,500 of those undertaken since restoration". The £4,550 (21%) reduction appears with a relisting as a "private sale" on the Car & Classic website after only two weeks!
