More Updated: 170713 Updated: 170602 Updated: 161206 Posted: 161105 Damask 1475 has appeared yet again, this time listed as a "late entry" with a "trade status" for auction at Dorset Vintage & Classic Auctions (DVCA) at Stalbridge in Dorset on Thursday 8th June 2017. The online details say "the V8 sits on its original road wheels and is described by its current custodian as good in most departments, although we are informed that the chrome bumpers are showing some signs of corrosion. A change of circumstances forces the very reluctant sale of this desirable motor car. The large history file supplied contains the V5C registration certificate, a BMIHT certificate, invoices and a quantity of MOT test certificates dating back to 1987". Bidders might wish to visit the GOV.UK website and checkout the MOT history and also make an inspection of the car. This is the fourth time this car has been offered for sale in 12 months. Seems there was no result at the auction on 8th June 2017 Damask 1475 was reported as sold by the Scottish auctioneer Morris Leslie on 21st May 2016 for £15,032 against a reserve of £10,000. We believe that price included the buyer's premium. 160521 This V8 was previously registered on the V8 Database by a member in Norfolk. It has internal trim upgrades. Damask 1475 was then listed by a trader in Snaith, Yorkshire for £16,000 "offers invited" on the Car & Classic website on 26th September 2016 with a mileage of 37,171. The listings says "huge history file documenting the work undertaken regardless of cost dating from 1989". It is still listed on that website. More 160926 Damask 1475 is now listed again with Morris Leslie for their auction on 19th November 2016 with a guide price of £15,000 to £16,000. 161119 MOT report & More. Update: the Morris Leslie webpage now says it is "presented with an MOT certificate until November 2017". 161117 Update: Keith Belcher reports the car was sold for £14,000 which with costs of £700 and VAT of £140 is a total of £14,840. 161206
