Goves spotted a Factory MGBGTV8 
(1974) in the auction results posted by Mathewsons at Pickering in North Yorkshire. 
The car is in need of restoration and was catalogued 
with an estimate £4,000 - £6,000. There were no photos of the interior. 
The auction results 
show it sold in May 2015 at a hammer price of £7,500 and a total including 
the buyer's premium plus VAT of £7,950. That price is midway between 
our price guide for Conditions 2 and 3 chrome 
bumper V8s.
