Bob Grieves (Black 2788) from Kent reports "we attended
the excellent "MG and Steam Rally" at Tenterden in Kent
on Sunday 29th July. The theme this year was muscle cars,so plenty
of V8s including a ZT500 in attendance, plus Geoff Radford's 1930
Black 2788 alongside
an MG SV at the "MG and Steam Rally" at Tenterden station.

Tigress. There was only only one other MGBGTV8 which was Aconite
1838 owned by Ken Roddon of Bexhill. This delightful gentleman,
who must be in his late 70's, has owned the car from new in
December 1974 and has covered 300,000 miles plus. He assured
me that the only thing he has replaced are the spark plugs!
It has the same engine, gearbox and clutch".
I am having a bit of a misfire problem, but have found the V8NOTES
CD bought at Silverstone very helpful, plus the suggestions
posted on the V8 website and V8BB. Hope to have this sorted
by Wednesday as we are off to France in the V8 for a couple
of weeks. (30.7.07)
