Comparing the kerbside weights, the rubber bumper model is 87 lb (40 kg) heavier than a chrome bumper MGBGTV8. The net increase in weight with rubber bumpers was 87 lb (40 kg) and interestingly 69% of that increase in weight went on the front wheels and 31% on the rear wheels. See scans of the weight tables.
