This example was purchased new by the vendor from
Clive Sutton on 7th February 1996 and has covered
only 7,600 miles since then. The car has been maintained
by the vendor's personal motor engineer and by |
Sargeants
of Goudhurst, though the only significant items
requiring replacement have been the water pump (in
1996) and the battery (2009). Finished in black
and fitted with a vehicle tracking device, this
rare modern MG is offered with MoT to March 2011,
old-style Swansea V5 and a quantity of old MOTs
and tax discs dating back to 1998.
It's quite likely a better net price would have
been achieved for this exceptionally low mileage
RV8 had the vendor offered the car for sale through
an advert on the V8 Website which has a far wider
coverage in contacting existing and prospective
RV8 enthusiasts. |

offer from Fred Jenns, the RV8 trader, at £19,950!
Quite a mark-up from the auction price of £15,870
only last weekend but sadly an auction was not the
best place to get a good price for an exceptionally
low mileage car. Clearly Fred can spot a bargain
when it's available! |
