V8 enthusiasts at the MG Show at Stoneleigh

Rodrigues has sent in a photo taken at Stoneleigh. He also mentions
a V8 Register Switzerland event - the 4th Swiss V8 Register
Get Together 2011 - is now settled for Sunday 4th September
2011 which includes a visit of the new “” Hotel
Riverside” earlier “spinning-mill” located
near Zurich-AIRPORT, visiting the hotel owner's private collection
of Sports Classic Cars , followed by an “ informal”
concours cars at the “MGV8 Pride of Ownership” and
a great ”Sunday-Brunch”. After this, they will drive
in convoy along the Rhein river to the city of Basle, around
100kms where
they will visit the great Swiss car builder Museum of Monteverdi.

Victor Rodrigues, the Swiss V8 Register contact,
is a regular visitor to the annual International
MG Show at Stoneleigh in February. This year he
made a flying visit with fellow Swiss enthusiast
Eric Pfändler.
Traditionally V8 enthusiasts meet up by Clive
Wheatley's stand at noon and here we have left
to right - Ian Ailes (an MGBGTV8 and T Type enthusiast
and natter leader), Eric Pfändler, Victor
Smith (V8 Chairman and webmaster) and Victor Rodrigues.
