Australian RV8 enthusiast, David Sutcliffe in Victoria, says "you may have been watching the flood situation in Victoria. Unfortunately I left my car on what I thought was high ground. A white Toyota Camry about three months old. It is shown on the news footage (see the link below) in the flood water. I
am pleased the high tech windscreen wipers had detected the water and turned themselves on and are still working in the clip! Japanese technology is impressive!"

David is General Manager of Technical Services at Goldfields Shire Council and says "Carisbrook is a town within my municipality that has just experienced the worst flooding on record. The town went under in a matter of an hour. Twelve months ago the municipality was in the grip of a 14 year drought and was on very harsh water restrictions. If you are interested have a look at the news clip."

We hope David's RV8 - Oxford Blue 0970 - is safe from the flooding and has not been damaged. As soon as we find out we will let you know.

David Sutcliffe has replied saying "the RV8 is tucked up nicely in Melbourne about 250 kms from the flooding." 230111
