saying "Calling Car numbers: 2128, 2184, 2219,
2240, 2260, 2301, 2371, 2548, 2552, 2611& 2745.
My Nightfire Red 2525 car was originally Tundra
and I would appreciate any photos of a rubber bumper
V8 in Tundra before I consider taking the decision
to return to original colour when my car goes through
a future refurbishment."
Well in fact 33 rubber bumpered V8s were manufactured
at the Abingdon Plant - see the V8 colour/numbers
chart in V8NOTE313. |

Registrar, Victor Smith, responsed saying "I
have been through the copy of the Factory Production
Control records made by the late Geoff Allen which
I hold and identified the 33 rubber bumpered MGBGTV8s
that were produced in Tundra, then checked those
cars against the V8 Register database and produced
the attached table showing that of the 33 cars only
17 (51.5%) have been registered with the V8 Register.
Of those 17 cars, 5 (29%) have had a colour change.
In the table I have provided the members' names
and where the member has agreed to the release of
personal data to fellow members, I have provided
the member's email and telephone numbers in the
cases where we have them. I hope this table will
