Bob Grieves made his usual trip to the 24 heures du Mans this year and stayed with friends in le Mans, near to the centre of town. Bob's MGBGTV8 (Black 2788) was very spoiled, parked in what looked to be part of the kitchen!

Bob reports meeting up with a French V8 enthusiast - Lionel Rohe with MGBGTV8 (BRG 0914), formerly finished in Blaze. The car was previously owned by the late Christopher Rogers in Oxfordshire. It is still in very good condition.

Bob reports Black 2788 ran faultlessly - it seems the Pertronic ignition kit he fitted to the V8, and the fact the engine now has a good earth, has done the trick.
