Letters of the month in Classic & Sports Car magazine
In the September 2010 issue, Fred Grisley has a letter on page 43 headed "Monster MGV8" in which he reflects fondly of the Factory MGBGTV8 he had back in 1974. It was subsequently heavily modified with a 0-60 mph capability of 5.8 seconds which he says "traumatised Porsche 911 owners who were left standing"! He ends his letter saying "my RAF service as a fighter pilot excepted, the old girl was, without a doubt, the greatest fun I ever had with my clothes on!"
