V8 Curry evening

In recent years the V8 Curry evening has been arranged for the weekend of the MG Show at Stoneleigh so members can combine the two popular events. This year a number of V8 members stopped overnight at Towcester and woke to find snow on the ground on the Sunday morning before they set off for Stoneleigh. The V8 Curry was organised for the second year by Tony Lake.

An annual V8 Curry Night has been a tradition of the V8 Register from its formation in 1978 and is usually held in early February to start the programme of V8 Gatherings for the year! This year it was at the Palash Bari in the village of Fosters Booth on the A5 in Northamptonshire.

Overseas members attending were Walter Kallenberg and Torsten Brand from Germany and John Targett from the USA. A former V8 enthusiast and founder member of the V8 Register, Mike Maude-Roxby, was a welcome sight together with John Day (Club President) and Janet and Bill Silcock (Club Chairman) and Sally.
