Quarrington takes second in the concours at Knebworth
After
marshalling for the Club at Donington Park on Saturday, Marion
Quarrington was relaxing at Knebworth Classic Car Show with
husband Ian and took second in her class in the concours with
her rare Matra. Marion was the only lady entrant.

Quarrington attended the Classic Car Show at Knebworth,
relaxing after his hard work at Donington Park at
the weekend. He was delighted to see his wife, Marion,
take second prize in her class (sports cars and
tourers from the 1970s and 1980s) in the concours
with her Matra. Ian adds "all that hard work
over the years on her Matra paid off. She was the
only lady entrant and there were about thirty cars
in her class. Jon Presnell from Classic and Sportscar
magazine carried out the judging, he is in the background
of the first photo".
Ian noted "you will pleased to know that the
Matra carries several modified MG parts where we
could not get Matra originals including a replacement
MGB wiper motor, replacement MGF gear selector linkages,
modified MGB wheel centres and a replacement MGZT
