Regular visitors to the V8 Website will know we have a useful
webpage with links to UK weather websites. Well now we have
another webpage with links to another five websites providing
forecasts for places outside the UK - ideal if you are travelling
overseas, say to Norway.

websites for weather forecasts when travelling outside
the UK
The feature in the "In Gear" section
of the Sunday Times on the "Five best weather
websites" on page 27 on 11th July 2010 was
the stimulus for some research of their suggested
websites. Well I think we have found one they missed
- in fact it came high on our UK weather websites
V8 ranking - it is the metcheck.com website which
gets our 9/10 V8

Our original selection of UK weather forecasting
websites has metcheck.com with an 8/10 V8
rating. It is is an easy to use website
and provides good weather forecasts. But the other
websites have their plus points - the BBC weather
website, with the maps with an animated sequence
of the radar trace of any rain for the current day
and the four days ahead, is very good too. More |
