A number of MGRV8GTs have been made in the UK and Australia and recently Ross Boyd has sent in details of his very good RV8GT.

News of a new MGRV8GT built using an original RV8 shell has come from Ross Boyd in Australia who says "I wanted to keep the RV8 as a complete car using all the new body work and parts. Yes many people will say why ruin a good RV8, well mine was from Japan and in pretty poor condition. So the whole car has been stripped and rebuilt, including a change of colour to the internal leather and new timber veneers. The sunroof is from a Calibra and was a perfect fit to the side rails of the RV8GT. The rear guards are also unique as I wished to keep the curve of the RV8. Every other RV8GT I've seen has kept the top of the guards as standard. I've had special side window made and urethaned them in, more like a modern car. The front doors are fully framed and special quarter vent windows are also urethaned in." The completed car looks very good and has the timeless GT lines.
