Ian Ailes says "having just sheered a water pump bolt, I think I have found a modern replacement for the 3M anti-seize material recommended in the
workshop manual on engine bolts. It costs about £18 to £20 for a 454g can. I have ordered some and will let you know how I get on with it." The Locktite website has a little more information:
