Brooklands
to Brighton Regency Run 2010
Three RV8 cars stayed in convoy for the whole new
and very pleasant route. Although the day started
off cold the cars stopped just after midway and
the hoods were lowered. John Bolt was accompanied
by his daughter and in |
the
other RV8s, John and Maureen Taylor and Ian and
Marion Quarrington who all arrived at Madiera Drive.
New route for 2010
Start point is the famous Brooklands circuit . .
. we then take in views of the North Downs from
Ranmore Common . . . through St. Leonard's Forest
which is between Horsham and Crawley . . . then
passing the lakes at Ashfold . . . over the "border"
into East Sussex crossing the South Downs at Ditchling
Beacon with the first sights of the sea...then past
the entrance to the race course and into Brighton
approaching Madeira Drive from the east. |
