Piers Hubbard enjoys a V8 in New Zealand

Piers Hubbard, MGA stalwart and Safety Fast! photographer, sounds as if he might almost be a V8 convert! He says "I have just returned from a memorable trip to the Pre '56 meeting at Whangarei in New Zealand. One of the things that made it memorable was that I was lent a V8 by Bob and Lynne Douglas for the three weeks we were there! It is just a shame that I do not have garage room for one!"

Glacier White 1354 is seen here enjoying fine Summer weather in New Zealand above Taupiri Bay in New Zealand. Bob bought the MGBGTV8 from the previous owner Anthony Gardner in Central Otago a few years ago. The car was originally registered as SAE 286 M in the UK back in the 1970s.
