Hello all,

Today (Wednesday 7th January) is my third day as General Manager of the MG Car Club. Having been a life long fan of MG cars I still cannot believe I have been handed this opportunity. My first MG related memory was back in 1962 when, as a four year old, my Grandfather drove an immaculate 1957 duo tone-Blue MG Magnette. I can still vividly remember the smell of the leather trim and feel of the wooden steering wheel.

At eighteen years of age I became the proud owner of my first MGB, a 1965 Roadster in British Racing Green. I subsequently moved through various MGB
Roadsters, GTs and in 1971 to a MG Midget.
As is often the case, life and family priorities then took over, but I always knew that I would return to the Marque in the future. However, never in my wildest dreams did I imagine I would be managing the World famous MG Car Club!

I hope my experience with and passion for MG cars would make my Grandfather proud and that I can continue to improve the fortunes of the Club. I look forward to meeting as many of you as possible over the coming months. The picture above shows me with my recently acquired MG!
