 From the speech to the House of Commons on Wednesday 12th March 2008 and the supporting press notices released by the Treasury, the key issues of concern to MGV8 enthusiasts are: Vehicle Excise Duty VED for MGBGTV8s and RV8s registered before March 2001 will rise by only £5 to £185pa from tomorrow. For reference the VED for Band G cars registered from March 2001 rises by £100 to £400.
