The annual V8 Curry Night has been a tradition of the V8 Register
from its formation in 1978. It is usually held in early February and
starts the programme of V8 Gatherings for the year! This year the
V8 Curry Night is on Saturday 24th February 2007 and is being arranged
by Ian Quarrington at his favourite curry house in the centre of Cambridge.
Although it is a spacious restaurant you will need to book a place
by contacting Ian at iquarrington@prior.com or on 01480 210783. All
members of the V8 Register and fellow Club members and friends are
very welcome. Full details are on the V8 website with a location map
and car parking guidance. More . .

The following day, Sunday 25th February, there is the annual Stoneleigh
MG Show at the National Agriculture Show Ground so why not make
            a weekend

 Prix des Alpes 2007
This year will be the tenth Prix
des Alpes. Al and Fiona Barnett have taken part in all of them and
look forward to this anniversary event. If you think you might enjoy
the scenery, the burble of the V8 up at 8,000ft, good hotels, but
not the competition, then there is a touring class where the routes
are more straightforward. Details can be obtained from brownings.sportscene@virgin,net
or you can call Al Barnett on 01306 875786 for further information
              on what is involved.

long weekend from Friday 28th September to Monday 1st October 2007.

of visits and events will be released early in the New Year by the
organiser Tony Lake. He has arranged accommodation at the Aviator

and officers' mess in the thirties. Dine in the Cirrus room overlooking
the landing strip that attracts a wonderful selection of vintage

              Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Northamptonshire and Warwickshire.
The cost will be £399 double and £299 single - full
details and a booking form are on the V8 website. We are hoping
several Club members with Leopard and Tiger Moths will fly in over
the weekend including V8 members, Ron and Valery Gammons.
