Joe Bannister reports he is enjoying his ZTT 260 V8 (Solar Red 0231)
a great deal but he is also very fond of his MGBGTV8 (Black Tulip
0120) which was a press car. Joe would like to find out more about
the ZTT 260 V8 so we are trying to encourage the twenty or so members
who have joined the V8 Register with that model to begin contributing
to a new series of ZTTV8NOTES. Joes says "In many ways the ZTT
260 V8 seems to me to be a modern interpretation of the MGBGTV8. The
engine is low stress and with 260 BHP certainly not tuned hard. The
two cars drive similarly allowing for size, save that the MGBGTV8
gearbox is nicer to use. Most surprising I find that driven smoothly
I am getting some 27 or so MPG from the ZTT; not quite as good as
HOH, but that is progress and it makes the car a very acceptable as
            well as enjoyable drive!"
