Essex Tour 2005
The
next V8 Tour in the popular series is planned for the long weekend
from Friday 9th to Monday 12th September
2005 and will be based at
the Five Lakes Resort near Maldon. The full programme of visits
includes Mountfitchet Castle and Norman Village, the Toy Museum
nearby, the Essex County Show, and the New Hall Vineyards at Purleigh
near Chelmsford. The organisers are Lynn and Andy Vine.
Accommodation has
been arranged at the Five Lakes Resort, a convenient and comfortable
base for the long weekend close to the Village of Tolleshunt Knights
near Tiptree in Essex.
Five Lakes Resort is a modern, fully equipped country club
set in a 320 acre country estate in the heart of Essex with 194 four-star
bedrooms, restaurants and bars, and superb leisure facilities which
include two golf courses and the most extensive sports amenities in
