Dates
for the V8 Essex Tour 2005
The next V8 Tour in the popular series is planned for the
long weekend from Friday 9th to Monday
12th September 2005 and
will be based at the Five Lakes Resort in near Maldon. The full
programme of visits includes Montfitchet Castle and Norman Village,
the Toy Museum nearby, the Essex County Show, and the New Hall Vinyards
at Purleigh near Chelmsford.
Reservations
at Five Lakes Resort
Andy and Lynn Vine has negotiated a special accommodation
rate with the hotel for members participating in the V8 Essex Tour
2005. She is coordinating the allocation of the available rooms
to the V8 members who confirm their booking of a place(s) on the
V8 Essex Tour. Early booking is strongly
recommended as the V8 Tours are very popular and in recent
years each tour has been fully subscribed.
Special accommodation rate
For the three nights bed, breakfast and dinner, the rate is £165.00
(double/twin room) or £270.00 (single room) per person.
This is based on a daily rate of only £55.00 (double/twin
room) and £90.00 (single) pppn. The prices include VAT.

Payments
All deposits (£25.00 per person) are payable with your booking.
The full balance is to be paid by not later than 1st August 2005.

Extras at the
hotel
Members shall be responsible for settling their account with the
hotel for any extras before leaving.
