Check the steel connecting pipe between the lower cooling hoses
John Holmes has a brief note but it is nonetheless a useful reminder of a check you should make when you change the rubber cooling hoses on your RV8. (Apr 09)

I recently purchased a set of replacement silicone cooling hoses from Clive Wheatley. Whilst changing

the hoses I found that the metal pipe connecting the two bottom hoses was badly corroded to the extent that there was a hole.
I obtained a replacement and understand from Clive that he has sold a number of these pipes.
