enthusiasts at Morges The RV8 and the MGB were featured cars celebrating their
20th and 50th anniversaries at the 21st Swiss Classic British
Car Meeting on Saturday 6th October 2012 at Morges on Lac Leman.
The setting along the shore of the lake bathed in sunshine with
a gentle breeze was magical with distant views of Mont Blanc
across the lake. Report

at Morges
The Swiss V8 Register display attracted over 27 MGV8s with enthusiasts
from France, Germany and Switzerland including twelve RV8s,
including Chris Yates from England with his car sporting a promotional
sticker for the European Event of the Year 2013 in Scotland.

MGBGTV8s
and MGBV8 Conversions at Morges
The display included Roger Rinhini with the rare pre-production
LHD North American specification MGBGTV8 (Teal Blue 0110) produced
in January 1973, Jacques Milliet with the first rubber bumper
model (Teal Blue 2101), a recent new member Gabriele Elsaesser
from Germany with Aconite 1054 and many V8 conversions, plus
an MG SVR. Report
