Convenient overnight stop at the Mercure Walton Hotel just west of Gaydon
Responding to his enquiry for overnight accommodation, Ralph Hardwick heard from the Mercure Walton Hall Hotel who say they place 30 rooms on allocation for V8 Register members and their friends as guests. The allocation of those rooms would be held for up to 6 weeks before 19th August 2023 when any unsold rooms would be released for public sale and after this point rooms would be subject to availability and any price change.

The special rates the Mercure Hotel has offered V8 Register members based on Dinner Bed & Breakfast would be £160.00 for double occupancy or £140.00 single occupancy. Bed & Breakfast would be £120.00 double or £110.00 single occupancy. To secure these special rates, the booking arrangements Mercure have confirmed to Ralph are V8 Register members will need to make their own booking with the hotel directly by using the code: MGBV850. Call the Mercure Hotel on 01789 842424 option 1 for reservations - their office handling reservations is manned 8.00am till 5.30pm Monday to Friday. Once bookings have been made and confirmed by individual guests, they would be non-cancellable, fully chargeable reservations with no refunds.

It's recommended bookings are made by V8 Register members when the office is manned by the reservations team from 8.00am until 5.30pm Monday to Friday to be sure of getting the special rates.
