One of our most recent new members, John Lomas, sent in an email to say: "My Dad and I finally picked the V8 up today and I'm still on a high from the drive home, for a 1970's car the power, pick up and sound of the engine are out of this world!". A photo of the car will follow. (27.4.08)

V8 Registrar, Victor Smith, replied: "I know exactly what you mean. The experience of driving an MGBGTV8 for the first time is wonderful. The good news is that after nearly 34 years I still get the same feeling each time I go out!".

Dennis Wharf (Blaze 1189) registered his MGBGTV8 a few months ago and has sent in a brief note which sums up the pleasure V8 enthusiasts share:
