Hazeley Heath on Sunday 19th August 2007

Mike and Barbara Russell with Al Barnett alongside the RV8 (Oxford Blue 1589) he has recently reimported from Japan. In the foreground is an MG M Type, a very welcome sight at the V8 Gathering at the Shoulder of Mutton on Hazeley Heath.

John Bolt has had a local joiner make up a neat glazed display box for his RV8 key fob. It is surprising how large these key fobs are as you can see with John's hand alongside.

Mark Rathbone (Damask 0266) had driven up from Dorset with his son, Tim, and was clearly pleased with the V8 they have recently acquired from Alan Hunt.
Ken Watson from near Southampton discussed his restoration of an RV8 (Woodcote Green 1549) caught up in the floods caused by a Hurricane on the Cayman Islands.

The restoration project has involved a complete strip down and extensive cleaning of all components and the interior but it is nearly complete so we should see it before long.

Al and Fiona Barnett was there with the ex David Boniface RV8 that they have entered for the Prix des Alpes which starts shortly.
