MGV8s
at Moulsdale Museum in Glasgow
The Moulsdale Foundation's classic and performance museum houses a
combined collection of over 400 cars and motorcycles. The collection
put together by David Moulsdale, a Scottish businessman, features
roughly 180 to 200 rare cars alongside a similar number of bikes.
The private museum is Scotland's largest classic car and motorcycle
collection, located in Bishopbriggs, near Glasgow.

Lindley reports "I have been at the Moulsdale Foundation
today as part of The Jim Clark Trust team. The Foundation were
holding a Jim Clark day which permitted promotion of both the
Trust and the Museum.
It is an amazing collection of cars and motorcycles, mostly
not old, and includes a good selection of supercars and rally
cars. Included in the display are three MGs - a TC and the two
MGV8s you can see in the photo alongside, an MGRV8 and an MGSV.
Disappointingly I was unable to get the chassis number for the
MGRV8 which is, I think, one returned from Japan".
There is no record of a registration of an MGRV8 on the V8 Database
with the VRN E3 MGR so if anyone recognises that numberplate
and has any information on the car do contact the V8 Registrar,
Dugald MacNeill. Contacts |
