This custom-built, left-hand-drive MG RV8 was assembled from a modified British Motor Heritage shell and RV8 body panels that were acquired by the seller out of the United Kingdom in the early 2000s. Following completion of the build in 2005, the car was featured in the October 2006 issue of Hemmings Sports & Exotic Car, a copy of which is included in the sale. Now showing 5k miles, the roadster is finished in dark green metallic paint and powered by a 4.0-liter Rover V8 linked with a Rover LT77 five-speed manual transmission and an MGC-sourced 3.07:1 rear end. It rides on 16" Compomotive three-piece wheels coupled with adjustable shocks at all four corners and is further equipped with power-assisted steering as well as a manually operated black soft top. The cockpit features RV8 bucket seats upholstered in Stone Beige leather accompanied by a custom burled elm wood dashboard housing VDO instrumentation and an Alpine CD stereo. This custom-built RV8 is now offered with a folder of records, build photos, two sets of keys, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Ohio title in the seller’s name that lists the car as a 2005 Assembled Vehicle.
